BamBam LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the BamBam HQ website and Chrome extensions published under the BamBam HQ brand (collectively, the "Services"). This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
Email address. When you purchase a Pro upgrade through Stripe, we receive the email address you provide during checkout. We use this solely to deliver your activation code.
Payment information. All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store or have access to your full card number, CVV, or billing details. Stripe may collect information as described in their privacy policy.
Extension usage data. Our extensions store your preferences (such as Pro mode status) locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. This data never leaves your browser.
Audio data. Our Hertz Detector extension analyses audio frequency data from media elements in your browser tab. All audio analysis is performed entirely on your device. No audio data is recorded, transmitted, or stored by us.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To deliver your Pro activation code via email after purchase
- To validate activation codes when you redeem them
- To process payments through Stripe
- To respond to support requests via our chat widget
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Stripe for payment processing (Privacy Policy)
- Brevo for transactional email delivery (Privacy Policy)
- Tawk.to for live chat support (Privacy Policy)
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your email address and activation code are stored securely on our backend infrastructure. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Extension preferences are stored locally on your device and are not accessible to us.
5. Data Retention
We retain your email address and activation code for as long as your Pro licence is active. If you wish to have your data deleted, contact us and we will remove it within 30 days.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your personal data
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications (we don't send any)
7. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
