Adalo Builder Tools — Privacy Policy

Adalo Builder Tools is a Chrome extension published by BamBam LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). This privacy policy explains what data the extension accesses and how it is handled.

1. No Data Collection

Adalo Builder Tools does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. We have no analytics, no telemetry, and no cloud processing. The extension operates entirely on your device.

2. What the Extension Accesses

Adalo builder DOM. The extension reads the DOM of the Adalo builder page (app.adalo.com) to extract screen names, component counts, dimensions, and link connections. This data is analysed locally to generate stats, performance rankings, orphan detection results, and dimension groupings. No builder data ever leaves your browser.

Screen SVG content. When you use the screen export feature, the extension reads SVG elements from the builder canvas to render PNG images locally. Exported images are saved to your device via browser download — nothing is uploaded.

3. Local Storage

The extension stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome's storage API:

• Activity tracking — time spent in the Adalo builder, stored per day with a 30-day rolling history
• Screen documentation — notes you write for each screen, keyed by app
• Dark mode preference — whether dark mode is enabled
• Disclaimer acceptance — whether you have accepted the first-run disclaimer

This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the extension removes all stored data.

4. Permissions

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

• Active Tab — required to access the current Adalo builder tab for DOM scanning and dark mode injection
• Tabs — required to detect when you switch between tabs for activity tracking
• Storage — required to save your activity data, screen documentation, and preferences locally
• Host permission (app.adalo.com) — required to run the content script that scans the builder DOM and injects dark mode styles

5. Third-Party Services

Adalo Builder Tools does not use any third-party services, APIs, or external servers. All analysis and rendering is performed locally in your browser.

6. Children's Privacy

This extension is not directed to children under 13. It does not collect any personal information from anyone.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
